2013 Compensation and Benefits Survey Released
The 2013 survey provides total compensation data for audiologists by full-time and part-time status while another section of the survey looks at how an audiologist is paid. 



CMS Releases Proposed Changes to Medicare Coverage in 2015
CMS released proposed rules on July 2nd and 3rd to reclassify osseointegrated implants like the BAHA resulting in the implants no longer being covered items under Medicare as of January 1, 2015. CMS also proposes to retire the audiology BPPV measure from PQRS. The Academy is closely reviewing the proposals and will submit comments to CMS.
