Guidelines for Academy Leadership Travel to State and Other Meetings
The American Academy of Audiology is pleased to offer various levels of participation for its leadership at state, regional, and national meetings. Such participation may include a keynote address (to include an Academy update and/or other subject matter material). While the Academy's policy regarding related travel/meeting expenses is flexible, state audiology organizations and other hosting organizations are encouraged to pay all or part of the requisite travel/meeting expenses for Academy representatives. At a minimum, this should include meals, accommodations, and complimentary meeting registration. Requests for attendance at events will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and should be directed to Peggy Azouqha, Academy Executive Assistant.
