We know our current members are the best source for identifying colleagues who are not members and who would benefit from Academy membership. We hope you will do just that.
Every time a new member joins the Academy, we are made that much stronger. A growing Academy expands public knowledge of audiology, strengthens our advocacy on Capitol Hill, and ultimately advances audiology!

Not only do you get rewarded for recruiting members for the Academy, but we will offer a special discount on dues for the members you recruit. New members normally pay a $50 application fee, which we will waive. We will also offer up to 18 months of membership for the price of 12!!! By joining now, the new member’s membership starts immediately and will run until December 31, 2013.
It’s very easy for new members to apply. Download the appropriate application form below and be sure that the new member enters your name and Academy ID in the referral box on the application.
Rules
- You will only receive credit for recruiting members in your same membership category (i.e., If you are a Fellow member, you will only receive credit for recruiting new Fellow members, not Student members. Student members will receive credit for recruiting other Student members.)
- Applications received without recruiter’s Academy ID and name will not count.
- Membership applications must be postmarked by September 21, 2012, to receive recruiter credit.
- The “Member-Get-a-Member” campaign may not be combined with other Academy membership discount offers.
- Completed applications with full dues payment must be submitted for recruiter to receive credit.
- Kindle device is being given away on behalf of the American Academy of Audiology.
- Amazon is not a sponsor of this promotion.
Want us to do the recruiting instead? If you know of non-members and you would rather have us contact them, please forward their names and contact information to the membership department. You will not receive rewards for these referrals but you’ll still be helping the Academy grow!
