The Academy has four strategic partners. These partnerships allow these organizations to work together to promote the needs and interests of audiologists. The Academy partners advance the profession of audiology through leadership, advocacy, education, public awareness, and research.
- American Academy of Audiology Foundation (AAAF) - The AAAF promotes philanthropy in support of research, education, and public awareness in audiology and hearing science.
- American Board of Audiology (ABA) - The ABA creates and oversees voluntary certifications that encourage audiologists to adhere to (and exceed) current standards of practice. The ABA offers special opportunities for new graduates to display expertise through ABA certification. WIthin six months of graduation, new grads can apply for ABA certification with a reduced certification fee. Read more about ABA certification for new graduates.
- Accreditation Commission for Audiology Education (ACAE) - As an accrediting body for AuD programs, the purpose of ACAE accreditation is to recognize, reinforce and promote high quality performance in AuD educational programs through a rigorous verification process.
- Student Academy of Audiology (SAA) - The national student division of the Academy serves as a collective voice to students pursuing careers in audiology.
