HHS Awards Money to State School-Based Health Center Programs: Opportunities for Audiologists 

 

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has announced awards of $95 million to 278 school-based health center programs across the United States. This money was provided through the Affordable Care Act and is aimed at helping clinics expand and provide more health care services at schools throughout the country. To ensure that audiology is among these expanded services, school-based audiologists as well as private practice or other service providers, may wish to contact sites in your area to inquire about participation. A list of eligible sites is available here.
