Jerger Future Leaders of Audiology Conference (JFLAC) 2014
Call for Applications
The American Academy of Audiology announces the 4th biennial Jerger Future Leaders of Audiology Conference (JFLAC). Recognizing the need to develop the future leaders of the profession of Audiology, Academy leadership launched the Future Leaders of Audiology Conference (FLAC) in September 2008 and repeated the conference in 2010 and 2012. These conferences were highly successful and widely acclaimed. The conference was renamed to honor the leadership of the one of the Academy’s founders and its first president, Dr. James F. Jerger in 2012. The 2014 JFLAC will take place at the Academy headquarters in Reston, VA and at the Academy’s Capitol Hill Office September 18-20, 2014.
The conference planning committee, made up of former JFLAC attendees, Academy leadership and staff will select 12 applicants to attend this conference. Academy members with 6-15 years of experience as an audiologist and with demonstrated leadership potential should complete the application form. Applicants must be current members of the Academy and must complete the application to be considered.
