 SAA Student Leadership Series

Sponsored by Phonak

The SAA Student Leadership Series is comprised of three individual session focused on the many different facets of student leadership. This year, sessions will explore key leadership areas of diversity, mindfulness, and identity.

Unity in Diversity: Celebrating Diversity in Hearing Professionals and the Clients We Serve

Our guest speaker will talk about the importance of diverse representation in the field of audiology. Learn about why celebrating diversity will encourage a sense of affinity and cultivate cultural literacy and open-mindedness towards the people we serve.

Making Time for Mindfulness: The Audiology Student Leader Survival Guide

An effective leader is a mindful leader! Learn about mindfulness/self-care and the importance of leading with a clear and focused mind. Removing the feeling of worry during busy and stressful situations will help nurture your passions and help you to develop strong leadership skills that will empower the people around you.

Forming Your Professional Identity: How Do you Want to Lead?

Hear from a variety of audiologists about their experiences in both personal and professional development. They hope to inspire you, as you step into the field of Audiology and cultivate your own professional identity.

 SAA Central
