It's time to submit your entries for the annual SAA Chapter T-Shirt Contest! This year's winner will receive $100 for their SAA chapter! To participate, submit photos showing the front and back of your t-shirt (.jpeg format preferred) via email to Emily Venskytis by March 25, 2017. The t-shirt can be worn by anyone and taken anywhere, it can be silly or serious, just make sure the t-shirt can be clearly seen in the photos. Submissions will be printed and displayed in SAA Central during AudiologyNOW! as well as on the SAA Facebook page. Voting will take place in SAA Central and online until 12:00 pm, Friday, April 7 and the winning chapter will be announced via social media.

The SAA Passport is your guide to discovering student-focused events at AudiologyNOW!. Visit the AuD Student Toolbox at 10:15 am on Thursday, April 6 to pick up a Passport and learn about all of the great events we have to offer students. If you miss the Toolbox, you can pick up a Passport at SAA Central. You will receive one punch on your passport for every student event you attend. And, if you receive at least six punches, you could win a free student membership for 2018! Turn in your completed passport by 6:00 pm on Friday, April 7 at SAA Central for your chance to be entered in the raffle.
The SAA Scavenger Hunt offers students the chance to explore the exhibit hall. With a separate set of questions to complete on Thursday, April 6 and Friday, April 7, students can learn more about the latest products and technology being offered by different companies within the hearing health-care industry. Search the exhibit hall and talk with exhibitors for your chance to win great prizes, meet students from other schools, and learn from the manufacturers. Complete the questions from 10:00 am-3:00 pm on Thursday, April 6 and from 8:00 am-2:00 pm on Friday, April 7 for two chances to be entered in the raffle. SAA Externship Panel
Friday, April 7, 1:00-3:00 pm
Students are invited to learn more about the externship process, experience, and expectations, as well as the transition from a student to a professional role. The panel will be in a Q&A format where panelists will respond to questions from the audience so come prepared! Panelists will include externs from a variety of settings, a new professional, and an externship supervisor. This session will also include a short presentation on applications, professional documents, and interviewing.
Special Olympics Healthy Hearing (SOHH) Panel

This panel will consist of two students and two professionals who will share their experiences and insights regarding various humanitarian opportunities, including Special Olympics, and how one can become involved. A short question and answer session will be held after the presentations.
