M. Patrick Feeney, PhD
M. Patrick Feeney is the director of the VA RR&D National Center for Rehabilitative Auditory Research at the VA Portland Health Care System and a professor of otolaryngology, head and neck surgery at the Oregon Health and Science University. He is Board Certified in Audiology® and a past president of the Academy. Dr. Feeney’s research interests involve the assessment of peripheral auditory function and adult hearing screening. He is currently a co-principal investigator (Co-PI) on an NIH NIDCD translational research grant, “Wideband Clinical Diagnosis and Monitoring of Middle-Ear and Cochlear Function,” with Douglas Keefe, PhD, and Lisa Hunter, PhD; PI on an NIH NIDCD R33 Grant on “Community-Based Kiosks for Hearing Screening and Education”; and Co-PI an a VA Merit Review Award, “Comprehensive Wide Bandwidth Test Battery of Auditory Function in Veterans,” with Kim Schairer, PhD.
