The American Academy of Audiology’s Annual Conference took place in Columbus, Ohio, on March 27–30, 2019. Columbus was an exceptional venue for the conference with a wide variety of educational events, social events, and networking opportunities, all designed to advance the profession of audiology. Educational and networking opportunities included:

- 22 Student Workshops and Events
- 15 Exhibitor Courses

Conference highlights included James Kane’s General Assembly presentation on the role of loyalty and how we can foster it with our patients. The Marion Downs Lecture on autism spectrum disorders filled every seat in the conference hall and was a favorite of pediatric audiologists. The new mini modules format allowed presenters to give a quick overview of innovative topics. Exhibitors taught audiologists through industry updates and by personalized education in exhibitor booths. There were so many interesting things to learn that it was often hard to choose where to focus.
