Public Awareness

October Is National Audiology Awareness Month [1]

Take Action. Be Informed. Stay Connected.

The Academy is dedicated to advancing the profession through increasing public awareness of audiology and the importance of hearing protection. Your grassroots efforts to educate the public locally will make a profound difference!

Share the Academy’s resources, tools, fact sheets, and social media graphics through the month of October.

COVID-19 Resources

The best recommendation for all practices is to follow the CDC recommendations. You will want to access the CDC website [2] on an ongoing manner to have the latest information. This is a changing situation and you will want to be up-to-date to protect your patients, your staff, yourself, and your families [3].

You also will want to monitor state and local recommendations that may impact your practice.
