Learning Labs ($)

Wednesday-only, in-depth, cutting-edge information on hot topic areas designed to be interactive, these 3 ½ hour learning labs will offer you hands-on exercises with appropriate clinical practices.

Advancing Audiology Research: Using Storytelling to Drive Cross-Disciplinary Engagement

Friday, April 24, 1:00–2:00 pm

Building on the AAA 2025 research networking session, speakers will provide updates and insights into optimal strategies for telling the story of your research. With increased opportunities for collaboration between auditory researchers and other disciplines, a compelling narrative communicates effectively beyond audiology how your work impacts patients and the field. Panelists with NIH, PCORI, and other funded research will share stories in building successful research narratives. Session participants will engage with panelists and other participants to discuss storytelling methods. The RI Task Force encourages participants to bring questions and share experiences in gaining support for their work.

Advocacy Ambassador Program

The Advocacy Ambassador Program Track prepares AAA members to become influential advocates at both the state and national levels. This track offers a comprehensive advocacy-focused learning experience designed to elevate participants’ leadership, policy fluency, and grassroots engagement skills.

Vestibular Crash Course

Special Extended Session in Vestibular Audiology
