The AAA Foundation had a fantastic showing at AAA 2025+HearTECH Expo in New Orleans! With incredible supporters, generous sponsors, and fun-filled events, it was a conference to remember—and we’re already looking forward to what’s next in 2026.
AAA Foundation Happy Hour
One of the highlights of the week was the AAA Foundation Happy Hour, where nearly 200 Foundation supporters gathered to celebrate and support the mission of advancing audiology through research, education, and public awareness. In true New Orleans fashion, Foundation board members raised funds by “selling” Mardi Gras beads to attendees.
We were especially honored to welcome two of our valued Foundation student scholarship sponsors at the event: Jerry Northern, PhD, and Amit Gosalia, AuD, ABA Certified. Their continued support helps ensure the next generation of audiologists has the resources they need to succeed.
A Major Moment with Oticon and the Student Academy of Audiology
Oticon, through the Oticon Hearing Foundation, proudly presented a contribution to support the American Academy of Audiology Foundation. The non-profit foundation designated a generous grant of $30,000 to fund the Empowering Students Scholarships for the 2025–26 academic year. This contribution will have a lasting impact on students pursuing careers in audiology.
Looking Ahead to AAA 2026 in San Antonio
As the excitement of AAA 2025 winds down, we’re already turning our eyes to AAA 2026, April 22–25, in San Antonio, Texas. Mark your calendars and get ready for more inspiring educational sessions, networking opportunities, and Foundation-hosted events. Stay tuned for more details—and if you missed us in New Orleans, we hope to see you in San Antonio!
