Foundation Leadership

Foundation mission areas of public awareness, research, and education are structured around the core charges guiding all leadership activities and goals. The following goals provide each Foundation Board of Trustees with a path forward to support the American Academy of Audiology enterprise.

• Develop an annual fundraising strategic plan that identifies fundraising goals, sources of funding, and messaging for specific donor segments that will result in advancing the Academy’s strategic priorities as determined by the Academy board.
• Ensure audiology student participation to encourage long-term involvement in the Academy.
• Collaborate with other councils to identify Academy priorities that will require funding and prioritize donations for those programs that will directly address gaps in required research and evidence and provide recommendations to the Academy Board.
