Overview
Through a generous donation from the Washington Society of Audiology (WSA), the American Academy of Audiology Foundation is offering full-time audiology graduate students (AuD, PhD, AuD/PhD) from a Washington state-based university funding to support their participation in professional meetings in the hearing sciences or other subjects related to the students’ professional coursework. The selected students will present research or gain an educational experience not available in their academic programs. The selected students will receive reimbursement to participate in any qualifying educational event, including AAA 2023+HearTECH Expo. For a virtual event, the registration fee will be reimbursed.
Students who receive funding through this WSA-funded STAR Program are required to provide the Foundation with a post-conference statement (2-3 paragraphs) that details the experience and learning outcomes within 30 days following the conference. The recipient is also encouraged to send photographs (.jpeg format) with his/her post-conference statements for use on the Foundation Web site and in other media.
