Open houses are for colleges, universities, and learning institutions to gather alumni, faculty, and current students for a reception style event.
Open houses will take place on Wednesday, April 7, 2027, from 4:30–5:30 pm. This year, we are offering two different choices for open house locations:
- In the AAA 2027 Expo Hall at America’s Center Convention Complex, located at 701 Convention Plaza, St. Louis, MO 63101. These will be in a designated, semi-private space on the expo floor.
- At our headquarter hotel – the Marriott St. Louis Grand, located at 800 Washington Avenue, St. Louis, MO, 63101. These will be in a designated, enclosed meeting room.
Deadline
Submissions for open houses are now open. While there is no official deadline to request space for an open house, there is limited space available at the headquarters hotel. All requests will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis. Contact AAAInfo@Audiology.org to request space. In your request, please include:
- Preferred room set
- Name of the group to be published in marketing materials
- Estimated attendance
- Preferred location (expo hall or hotel)
Capacity
Please indicate approximate attendance in your submission and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Expenses
Organizations holding an open house will be responsible for their food and beverage, room set, audiovisual equipment, and any other costs associated with hosting the open house. Charges will be billed directly to your organization.
Advertising
Event advertising around the convention center and/or hotels is not permitted. All event material, as well as any advertising not pertaining to Academy-approved open house events, will be reported and discarded. Open houses will be listed in the AAA 2027 Online Conference Planner.
Signage
The Academy will provide a complimentary event sign displaying event information. Event signage will be placed at the entrance of the assigned location, prior to the event start time. Please indicate in your request how you would like your event to read on the signage.
Open House Attendance
All open house attendees must be registered for AAA Annual Convention 2027.
