Research Grants in Hearing and Balance: Call for Applications

The American Academy of Audiology is now accepting proposals for the 2021 cycle of the Research Grants in Hearing and Balance Program.

Funded by the American Academy of Audiology Foundation (AAAF), this program awards research grants of up to $10,000 for a new investigator’s study and up to $5,000 for a study by a student investigator.

Also available through AAAF funding is one $2,500 stipend for a student summer research fellowship.

ACADEMY NEWS | Jerry Northern Scholarship in Pediatric Audiology

The AAA Foundation is excited to announce a new scholarship opportunity for students interested in pediatric audiology. 

Dr. Jerry Northern has graciously donated to the Foundation to award three students with $10,000 each in tuition funding and $500 each for travel expenses to the AAA Annual Conference and HearTECH Expo.

FOCUS ON FOUNDATION | SAA Chapter Challenges: The Tradition Continues

In 2012, the Student Academy of Audiology (SAA) Board of Directors established the Chapter Challenges to encourage SAA members to work toward common goals, help further the profession of audiology, and increase public awareness about hearing health care. Two years later, Hearing Healthcare Recruiters (HHR) made a pledge to the AAA Foundation to fund the challenges for five years, markedly expanding the potential impact of the initiative.
