We’re so excited to welcome thousands of audiologists, audiology students, hearing health professionals, industry representatives, and new attendees to AAA 2023+HearTECH Expo! There is a fully packed three and a half days ahead, so here are some quick tips to help you all hit the ground running.
Phase One
Upon entering the convention center, head to “Registration and Badge Pick-Up” to get your badge and tote bag with the Academy conference guide. If you want to go mobile, download the conference app through either the google play app store or apple app store; download “eventScribe” then search AAA 2023. More information can be found on our website here.
While you’re at registration, make sure to locate CEU manager, where you can log all the CEUs you earn each conference day. Just scan the QR code on your badge, or, enter online using the CEU manager on the app.
What’s Happening?
The Student Academy of Audiology (SAA) Conference, sponsored by Starkey, is in full swing! Our student leaders are the future of audiology, and we are thrilled to offer them a day of student-focused education, collaboration, and networking.
We have several educational sessions, including our hands-on learning labs, being presented Wednesday morning and afternoon. If you don’t have any plans, use the conference guide or opening up the app and click the icon labeled “Happening Now.”
Meet Me at the Spot
The New Professionals Networking Meet-Up (sponsored by Kaiser Permanente) is taking place from 1:30–2:30 pm in Rooms 618–620 (705 Pike) and is open for any attendees new to audiology!
The HearTECH Expo Hall unveiling, and the official kick-off conference event we know you look forward to every year, Celebrate Audiology, sponsored by Hamilton CapTel, will begin at 5:00 pm in the expo hall. Connect with other colleagues who have traveled for the event or enjoy some face time with Academy leadership, including members of the board.
New for 2023, there will be raffle drawings in the expo hall each day, with the first starting tonight at 6:00 pm during Celebrate! Drop your completed raffle ticket into our raffle drum located inside the main entrance (between booths #602 and #402) for your chance to win a $250 gift card. Must be present to win.
Academy Central is open from 4:00–7:30 pm today. If you have any questions about Academy membership, volunteering, ABA certification, or anything else, the Academy staff is here for you. Drop by and see us today or any time over the next three days!
