AAA 2026 is officially in the books. From April 22–25 in San Antonio, thousands of audiology professionals came together to learn, connect, and celebrate the future of the field. With energizing sessions, meaningful conversations, and unforgettable moments, this year’s convention truly captured the power of community and innovation.
Highlights
We kicked things off with the Opening General Session, where attendees gathered for a powerful keynote from Dr. Hassan Tetteh that set the tone for the days ahead—challenging us to think bigger about our impact and the value we bring to patients and the profession. Throughout the week, educational programming delivered across the board, with sessions covering clinical advancements, practice management, coding, ethics, and emerging technologies. Big news was released at our From Bench to Playroom session, where Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. announced the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has granted accelerated approval for Otarmeni™ the first gene therapy and second new molecular entity approved under the FDA Commissioner’s National Priority Voucher program.
The Exhibit Hall was buzzing with activity as attendees explored the latest innovations in hearing care, connected with industry partners, and discovered new tools to elevate their practice. Featured Sessions and career-focused programming gave attendees opportunities to deepen their expertise and walk away with practical, actionable insights.
Networking remained at the heart of AAA 2026. From the Celebrate Audiology Reception to specialty group meet-ups and the new Private Practice Lounge, there was no shortage of opportunities to build relationships, share ideas, and strengthen our professional community. Audiology’s Night Out brought attendees together for an evening of fun, music, and connection—San Antonio style.
Amplify Your Value
A central theme throughout AAA 2026 was “Amplify Your Value,” reflected across both educational content and attendee experiences. Sessions in this dedicated track focused on helping audiologists articulate their impact, advocate for the profession, and navigate the evolving health-care landscape with confidence.
