Back by popular demand, this session at AAA is designed to resonate with a wide range of clinical audiologists as well as those engaged in conducting—and learning about—the latest groundbreaking research in audiology. The “Frontiers in Audiology Research-Pediatrics” session will feature 15-minute presentations highlighting cutting-edge research centered on the theme of Pediatrics. Each invited expert will share their latest findings across four key areas: cochlear implants, electrophysiology, hearing care disparities in developmental disabilities, and vestibular sciences, all focused on the pediatric population. Attendees will also have time at the end of the session to pose questions to the expert presenters.

Due to the positive response to last year’s launch, we’re expanding the “Frontiers in Audiology Research” series with this additional session at AAA 2026. This installment of the “Frontiers in Audiology Research” series will focus on the rapidly evolving field of implantable devices. Attendees will hear a series of 15-minute presentations showcasing cutting-edge research and emerging innovations related to implantable hearing technologies. Expert presenters will share their latest findings across several key areas, including totally implantable cochlear implants, auditory brainstem implants, vestibular implants, and bone-conduction implant solutions. The session will conclude with dedicated time for attendees to engage directly with the experts through questions and discussion.
