It has come to our attention that scammers are targeting our meeting attendees and exhibitors, attempting to sell attendee lists and solicit bookings at unauthorized hotels. The Academy does not rent or sell email lists to third parties. Maritz is the Official Hotel Provider for AAA Annual Convention 2026.

Please be aware of any message coming from sources not affiliated with AAA Annual Convention 2026. Avoid interaction with them. Valid emails come from @audiology.org, AAA Customer Service (@exl.eventshq.com), or from @maritz.com.

Attendee List Email Scam

Unfortunately, emails are circulating that offer to sell attendee lists for AAA Annual Convention 2026. These emails are sent by scammers impersonating the Academy.

  • Note that the Academy does not sell its exhibitor or attendee lists, and no third party is authorized to distribute or sell any lists related to our events.
  • Statements claiming to offer our attendee lists are fraudulent.
  • Affiliate Member conference exhibitors and select sponsors may retain the right to use the list, but emails addresses are NOT provided directly to the entity.

If you receive emails that propose to sell AAA Annual Convention 2026 attendee lists, do not engage with the sender and delete the message immediately. You may also report these messages to aaainfo@audiolog.org.

Hotel Booking Scam

Our conference is also the target of hotel scams. Scammers call or email attendees and exhibitors, claiming to represent the Academy or AAA Annual Convention 2026 vendors, and encourage our customers to book rooms using fake promotion codes at various hotels close to the conference venue(s).

Please know that the Academy and the venue or convention center will NOT be calling anyone to make a room reservation and that any person who claims to do so on our behalf is not authorized to do so.

If ANYONE contacts you about booking housing or purchasing attendee/data lists, please be advised that they are poachers who are not authorized by the Academy and should be reported to the Academy and ignored.
