Then, we’ll demonstrate removal techniques/equipment and end with hands-on experience.
Electric Acoustic Stimulation (EAS): Maximizing Acoustic Hearing Benefit in Combination with Cochlear Implants for Children and Adults
Presented by René Gifford, PhD
Hearing aids and cochlear implants offer significant benefits, yet bimodal and EAS/Hybrid configurations are underutilized. This lab will cover candidacy, programming, and evidence-based mapping for these technologies, with hands-on examples using advanced bionics, cochlear, and MED-EL systems.
Turning Points: Mastering Vestibular Rotational Assessment

By exploring stimulus protocols, outcome measures, and diagnostic patterns, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of vestibular physiology and its responses to various stimuli.
Verification: Verifying Advanced Features for Patients Satisfaction
