Jennifer (Jenn) Tyler is fourth-year AuD student at Idaho State University currently completing her externship at Kaiser Permanente in Roseville, California. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in speech-pathology and audiology from California State University, Sacramento (Sac State). Jenn has been involved in SAA for the past three years both in her local chapter as president, and on national committees including the Students with Hearing Loss Subcommittee and secretary on the Board of Directors. During her undergraduate career, she was vice president of the ASL Club at Sac State, and vice president and acting treasurer of her local chapter’s Kappa Omicron Nu honor society.
Jenn is the 2023–2024 Programs Committee chair for the Student Academy of Audiology. As the chair, she hopes to effectively advocate for her fellow audiology students and the field of audiology. Jenn’s audiology interests include auditory processing, electrophysiologic testing, vestibular testing, cochlear implants, and research. Outside of audiology, Jenn enjoys DIY projects, reading, games, plants, and spending time with her friends, family, and fur babies.
