The first day of AAA 2025 is in the books! Attendees enjoyed a busy afternoon filled with networking events and educational sessions. The New Professionals Networking Meet-Up, sponsored by Kaiser Permanente, provided all early-career audiologists an opportunity to connect and build relationships. The Student Academy of Audiology (SAA) Mix and Mingle, sponsored by Starkey, offered students a chance to network over snacks and beverages.
The evening started with the Expo Hall Opening, and rolled over into the Celebrate Audiology Reception, sponsored by Hamilton CapTel, where guests engaged with industry representatives over food and drinks. In the HearTECH Expo, colleges, universities, and learning institutions hosted open houses, allowing alumni, faculty, and students to connect in a reception-style setting.
The night concluded with the AAA Foundation Happy Hour. Friends and colleagues enjoyed food and drinks while supporting the Foundation’s mission of promoting research, education, and public awareness in audiology and hearing sciences.
Looking Ahead
Day two promises to be another exciting day at AAA 2025. Attendees can look forward to a transformational keynote address (sponsored by Starkey) from corporate speaker and meditation leader Nadene Cherry, who will discuss the power of pause.
In the afternoon, attend one of our new Specialty Group Networking Meet-Ups, where you’ll have the chance to connect with like-minded professionals in a relaxed, collaborative and welcoming environment. Close out the night in style with some live music at AAA’s Not-So-Secret After-Hours Party!
