Concussion care is no longer a single-discipline effort. As research continues to reveal concussion as a complex, multisystem injury, audiologists are increasingly essential members of the care team—particularly when athletes experience dizziness, balance disruptions, and auditory-cognitive challenges. This dynamic panel session will spotlight the critical role audiology plays in comprehensive concussion assessment and recovery.

Moderated by Alaina Bassett, AuD, PhD, this interprofessional discussion brings together experts in audiology, athletic training, neuropsychology, and physical therapy to examine how auditory, vestibular, cognitive, and musculoskeletal systems intersect following mild traumatic brain injury. Panelists Jamie Bogle, AuD, PhD; Rosemarie Scolaro Moser, PhD; Joel Marquez, DPT, PT, ATC, LAT; and Anthony Kontos, PhD will share evidence-based insights and real-world strategies that support more informed decision-making for return-to-learn and return-to-play.
