We are delighted to welcome new members to the ABA Board for three-year terms: Rebecca Lewis, Caryn McLellan, and Vienet Romero.
Alison Grimes, Joscelyn Martin, and Dennis Van Vliet recently completed their terms on the board, and we thank them for their years of dedication, expertise, and thoughtful contributions.
Jennifer Drohosky remains on the board as immediate past chair, and deserves acknowledgement for her steady stewardship as chair through the COVID-related upheaval of this past spring and summer.
Sandra Gabbard has assumed the position of chair-elect.
There have been some updates of note to the functionality of the ABA website. Applications for ABAC and PASC can now be completed online, and easily find a list of all active certifications and certificate holders.
With people spending more time at home this past spring, many of you took advantage of the opportunity to complete the ABA certificate training programs: Certificate Holder-Tinnitus Management (CH-TM) and Certificate Holder-Audiology Preceptor (CH-AP).
ABA is looking forward to a busy 2021, with another administration of the PASC exam expected in the spring and an update to the preceptor training, CH-AP, in the works. But most importantly, I am grateful to all of you for your continued commitment to education and excellence in audiology.
Stay healthy!
