How It Started
The first day of AAA 2023+HearTECH Expo began with the future of audiology at the Student Academy of Audiology (SAA) Conference, along with our highly sought-after (and nearly sold out) hands-on learning labs, and innovative educational sessions. Our new well-attended meet-up event specifically for new professionals (sponsored by Kaiser Permanente) started these attendees off with a new network of colleagues and friends, and seasoned audiologists came together for the American Board of Audiology (ABA) Meet and Greet, and the AAA Foundation Happy Hour (sponsored by SHOEBOX).
We were thrilled to host our annual welcome event, Celebrate Audiology (sponsored by Hamilton CapTel), where attendees could connect and enjoy food and drink while they perused an expansive hall with wall-to-wall technology and the latest in hearing health products and services.
How It’s Going
As we open for our second day of conference activities and events, there’s a few stops we know you’ll want to make.
Calling all researchers to rooms 615–617 (705 Pike) for a networking session: Advancing Clinical—Academic Collaborations in Research. Held by the Academy’s Research Initiatives Committee, in collaboration with the Academy’s Scientific Advisory and External Relations Council, this networking session will facilitate clinical and academic research collaborations.
If you’ve already had a good look around the exhibit hall, keep walking through towards Halls 4EF (follow signs on the floor for industry updates) for our Poster Hall, Professional Headshot Studio, Hearing Accessibility Pavilion, Industry Updates, and more.
Our FREE Professional Headshot Studio (sponsored by ReSound) is back by popular demand. Headshots are a great way to make a good first impression, whether you’re a student who is about to enter the profession, someone starting a new practice, or just looking to spruce up your LinkedIn profile.
