Progress continues on the new General Audiology Board Certification (GABC) that will lead to a Board Certified Audiologist (BC-A) credential. The Development Task Force has solicited volunteer subject matter experts for exam creation, including the exam blueprint, exam item writing and reviewing, and preparation of a beta test. The Oversight Committee will focus on timeline preparation, exam scoring, and promotion of the certification within the audiology community. Early estimates are to open applications this summer for a beta test to be delivered this fall. Stay tuned!
