American Board of Audiology Seeks Candidates for 2025-2028 Leadership Positions

This is your opportunity to help lead the American Board of Audiology, the American Academy of Audiology’s committee dedicated to advancing the profession of audiology through audiology certification. We hope you share our enthusiasm and consider participating in this process that will positively impact the future of the ABA.

Open Board Positions

Three (3) seats available, each for a three-year term commencing October 1, 2025 through September 30, 2028.

Eligibility

You are eligible to apply if you are an Academy member and an ABA certificant in good standing; and have held an American Board of Audiology Certified, Board Certified in Pediatric Audiology, or Board Certified in Cochlear Implants credential for at least two full years as of June 1, 2025.

How to Apply

Complete the online application which should take about 10 minutes to complete. All nominations and accompanying materials are due no later than Saturday, May 31, 2025.

April 9	Nominations Open
May 31	Deadline to submit applications and accompanying materials
June 18	ABA Board will select candidates to present to the Academy
Mid-July	Candidates approved by the Academy Board
October 1	New ABA Board terms begin
