Better Hearing and Balance Begins with Us!

  • ABA News

Spring is here, and you know what that means! I’ll save you the ‘flowery’ tag lines this year, but we would be amiss if we didn’t acknowledge that May is Better Hearing Month. This month, the American Board of Audiology wants to celebrate all of the wonderful ways in which you contribute to bettering the lives of your patients and their families. Whether it is volunteering with the Academy, providing education in your community, serving around the world with humanitarian audiology missions, or finding ways to improve your daily clinical practice, the foundation of our field is built on YOU!

For the month of May, ABA wants to see all the ways in which you are making a positive impact. We’d love for you to share with us short descriptions (with photos too!) of events or contributions that you have participated in during Better Hearing Month (or in months past!). In our next newsletter, we’ll publish all the ways in which each of you are making a difference in people’s lives. No matter how small the act, we’d love to hear how you’re helping the field of audiology BLOOM (okay sorry, only the one flowery tag line)! Please send submissions to: aba@audiology.org with the subject line “BHM”.
