The American Academy of Audiology’s State Policy Advocate Network (SPAN) will hold its fourth-quarter meeting next week, on October 28, 2026, from 8:00–9:00 pm ET. The meeting will focus on the Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Interstate Compact (ASLP-IC), with representatives attending to present and answer questions.
The ASLP-IC facilitates interstate practice for audiologists and speech-language pathologists by providing a pathway for eligible professionals to practice across participating member states without obtaining a separate license in each state. The meeting will help participants learn more about the compact, discuss its implementation, and receive state-specific updates.
Submit Your Questions in Advance
SPAN participants are encouraged to submit questions about the ASLP-IC ahead of the meeting. Questions will be shared with the compact representatives in advance to help prepare for an informative discussion. Submit your questions here
