What’s a project you’re working on right now? Why is it meaningful to you?
I am working on raising awareness of the phenomenon of pseudohypacusis in middle school-aged children.
How has your career benefited from being a member of the Academy?
I joined after becoming Board Certified in Pediatric Audiology. I learned so much more by studying for the PASC, and find physicians at my hospital understand and respect the designation.
Any tips or advice for new members on how to best leverage their Academy membership?
Attend AAA Conferences and present your clinical findings. Your experiences, passion, and knowledge can help benefit our future audiologists.

Dr. Marion Downs and Gilda Radner. Both of them taught me the importance of childlike energy, passion, and humor.
If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
Flying because it would make commuting and attending conferences faster!
