Hearing Device Services Codes Resource Center

The new hearing device services codes are different than the traditional diagnostic codes used in audiology, so we recognize that people will have questions and look for more guidance. The Academy has planned education in the weeks and months ahead that will provide members with how these codes may be useful once effective on January 1, 2026.

Please monitor Audiology Weekly, the Academy's weekly newsletter, and this site for announcements regarding these educational opportunities. The introductory language and parentheticals that accompany the codes will offer more guidance, but they will not be available until the CPT book is released in late August/early September and in the public domain. Once that information is publicly available, we will be able to share more and provide specific answers to questions. The Academy continues to collect questions to address in forthcoming education.
