Joanne Rinker

Joanne Rinker, MS, RDN, BC-ADM, CDCES, LDN, FADCES, is a master’s level registered dietitian and certified diabetes care and education specialist with over 25 years of experience. A Board Certified Advanced Diabetes Manager, she previously served as the program coordinator for the North Carolina Diabetes Education Recognition Program, building it into the largest American Diabetes Association (ADA) recognized site in the nation. Named the American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE) 2013 Diabetes Educator of the Year, Joanne used this platform to raise awareness about the link between diabetes, hearing loss, and depression. She has held various leadership roles, including serving on the ADCES Board of Directors and as the Senior Director of Practice, Content and Learning. Currently, she is the Director of Medical and Scientific Engagement at Mannkind Corp.
