The State Policy Advocate Network (SPAN) will hold its first meeting of 2026 on January 28 from 8:00–9:00 pm ET. This opening meeting of the year will focus on state affairs, setting the stage for collaboration and coordination among advocates as legislative sessions get underway across the country.
Participants are encouraged to come prepared to share their initiatives for the year, as well as any legislative or regulatory priorities they are advancing in their states. This discussion-based meeting is designed to foster peer-to-peer learning, identify common challenges and opportunities, and strengthen advocacy efforts at the state level.
As state legislatures and regulatory bodies begin to take action in 2026, this meeting will provide a crucial opportunity for SPAN members to exchange insights, identify emerging issues, and align on strategies to support audiology-related policy goals nationwide.
If you are interested in attending the meeting but have not received an invitation, please contact Michelle Moore, Manager of Government Relations, at mmoore@audiology.org.
