Cortney Sperry, AuD, is a licensed audiologist, educator, entrepreneur, and founder of Severn Sound & Balance, a mobile audiology practice bringing comprehensive, clinical-grade hearing care directly to patients throughout Annapolis, Severna Park, and surrounding communities in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.

With more than a decade of experience in audiology, Dr. Sperry has worked across private practice, medical and ENT settings, pediatric and adult care, vestibular assessment, and veteran disability evaluations. She also serves as adjunct faculty and a clinical supervisor at the Towson University Hearing & Balance Center, where she teaches, mentors, and helps shape future generations of audiologists. Throughout her career, her work has been grounded in a deep belief in the power of connection.

Dr. Sperry founded Severn Sound & Balance to create a more personal and accessible approach to hearing healthcare—combining evidence-based audiology with the convenience and individualized attention of concierge care. Her practice provides in-home and community-based hearing evaluations, hearing aid services, tinnitus care, counseling, and auditory training, with an emphasis on early intervention, patient education, and improving real-world communication.

Service and community engagement have also been defining parts of Dr. Sperry’s professional journey. She has participated in international hearing healthcare and volunteer initiatives in China, South Africa, and Jamaica and remains actively involved locally through teaching, youth athletics coaching, volunteer leadership, and service on the Board of Directors of the Severna Park Community Center.

Dr. Sperry brings an entrepreneurial and forward-thinking perspective to audiology, combining clinical expertise, creativity, compassion, and a commitment to helping people feel heard, connected, and empowered to live more fully.
