Andy Lau, AuD, ABAC, discovered his passion for audiology after a career assessment during his psychology studies at the College of William & Mary. A subsequent role as an audiometric assistant confirmed his path, leading him to earn his Doctor of Audiology (AuD) from Drexel University’s (formerly Salus University) Osborne College of Audiology. Dr. Lau views audiology as a lifelong learning journey and prioritizes patient-centered care, helping individuals navigate their health through the lens of hearing and balance.

Currently a Clinical Educator at Gallaudet University, Dr. Lau combines clinical practice with mentoring future audiologists. His time at Gallaudet has deepened his commitment to language accessibility and cultural sensitivity, shaping his inclusive approach to care. Previously, he served as lead audiologist for the Pediatric Balance Disorder Program at Nemours/A.I. duPont Hospital for Children, adjunct laboratory instructor at Salus University, and faculty audiologist at OU Physicians. These roles solidified his expertise in managing complex hearing and vestibular disorders. Dr. Lau provides services in both English and Cantonese.

Beyond clinical care, Dr. Lau is dedicated to advancing the field. He has volunteered extensively with the Accreditation Commission for Audiology Education (ACAE), serving as a site visitor, Board member, and Chair, where he championed excellence in educational standards.

His professional interests include electrophysiologic testing, vestibular and balance assessment, pediatric diagnostics, and clinical education. Outside the clinic, Dr. Lau enjoys cooking, meandering, photography, and salsa dancing.
