Kaylee Smith, AuD, CH-AP
Kaylee Smith, AuD, CH-AP, is a clinical audiologist specializing in vestibular assessment and balance disorders. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Saint Louis University, followed by a Doctor of Audiology degree from Northern Illinois University. After completing a clinical externship at Henry Ford Health and a clinical and research fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, she joined Henry Ford Health in 2016 and continues to practice in the Department of Otolaryngology, Division of Audiology.
In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. Smith serves as the Externship Program Coordinator, Vestibular Coordinator, and West Bloomfield Hospital Audiology Site Coordinator, leading initiatives that enhance patient care, clinical operations, and audiology education. She is also an active member of the Steering Committee for the Audiology Clinical Education Network, contributing to initiatives that advance excellence in clinical education and externship training.
Dr. Smith actively engages in the education and mentorship of doctoral audiology students through Henry Ford Health System and Wayne State University, providing clinical training and supervision. She also has an active role in the academic education of doctoral audiology students at Wayne State University, where she teaches the advanced vestibular science and electrophysiology course. Dr. Smith has presented nationally on vestibular diagnostics, vestibular disorders, and clinical education. In addition, she has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications on vestibular assessment and audiology education.
