There’s still time to join the Academy’s next State Policy Advocate Network (SPAN) quarterly meeting, taking place on Wednesday, July 22, from 8:00–9:00 pm ET. SPAN provides Academy members with an opportunity to stay informed about state advocacy efforts, discuss legislative and regulatory developments, and connect with colleagues engaged in audiology advocacy nationwide.
During this quarter’s meeting, Joanne Zurcher, MP, Vice President of Government Relations and Policy, will provide an update on recent developments in student loan regulations and legislative solutions affecting audiologists. Attendees will also learn about Academy resources available to support members navigating these issues and have the opportunity to ask questions. The second half of the meeting will feature a state advocacy roundtable, where participants are encouraged to share updates from their recent legislative sessions, discuss emerging trends, and exchange advocacy strategies with colleagues from across the country.
If you are interested in state advocacy or simply want to stay informed about policy developments affecting the profession, we encourage you to join us. To receive the meeting invitation, please email mmoore@audiology.org.
