What is your background in audiology?
I am the director of audiology for an ENT group in East Tennessee. I got my AuD from the University of Tennessee in 2011, and I have been here ever since.
Why do you volunteer with the Academy?
I volunteer because I want to see our profession grow in its ability to help people and get paid.

What is one thing that you can say volunteering has done for you and your personal success as an Audiologist?
Volunteering gives me an appreciation for all the professionals who have paved the way for us to be successful.
What does a perfect weekend look like for you?
My wife and I have six amazing children, so weekends are always an adventure. Put me down for swimming, hiking, playing, cooking, ice cream, and reading together before bedtime.
If you could hop on a plane this second, where would you go?
a. With kids: the nearest beach
b. Without kids: Following Granddaddy’s path during WWI: North Africa, Italy, Southern France, and Germany
