Bio
Elaine Mormer, PhD, is a professor and the vice chair for clinical education, Department of Communication Science and Disorders, at the University of Pittsburgh School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. Dr. Mormer is a co-developer of the “Championing Hearing Using Accessible Medication Experts at the Community Pharmacy” (CHAMP) certificate course for pharmacy students and professionals. Dr. Mormer has coauthored several publications addressing OTC hearing aids and the role of pharmacists in supporting self-care hearing solutions. Since 2017, she has provided education to pharmacy students and professionals, focused on collaboration with audiologists.
