Tennessee and Iowa recently joined the list of states that are now participating in the ASLP-IC.
This interstate licensing compact will enable practitioners in participating states to apply for a “privilege” to practice both in-person and via telehealth in other participating states. The ASLP-IC, like other similar compacts that exist for other professions, like nursing, will increase the portability of licensure as well as facilitate access to these critical services.
