I love being able to teach students, create connections between class and clinic, and actively engage in clinic daily.

What’s a project you’re working on right now? Why is it meaningful to you?
We are growing a senior honors clinic option to allow undergraduate students to be in the audiology clinic to help determine if they want to attend graduate school in audiology instead of speech-language pathology.
How has your career benefited from being a member of the Academy?
The Academy provides support for the clinical driven provider, connections, and research for evidence-based practice.
Any tips or advice for new members on how to best leverage their Academy membership?
Use the connections to build support for billing questions and the research to inform your daily, patient-centered decisions.

My mother, who taught me to never settle for less, know your worth, never take on more than you can take care of yourself, and never be afraid of the hard…. The hard is always worth it.
