As editor-in-chief of the Journal of the American Academy of Audiology, I have the pleasure of working with a brilliant group of section editors and innovative researchers and clinicians. I have served on the editorial board of JAAA for over 10 years and am looking forward to some big changes we are planning for the upcoming year. One of my goals as editor-in-chief is to highlight the clinical relevance of the science we publish while continuing to disseminate high-quality hearing and balance research.
I am also an associate professor at James Madison University where I am the program director of audiology and the director of the vestibular sciences lab. My day-to-day activities include teaching, conducting research, and mentoring students at all levels including undergraduate, AuD, and PhD students.
