Board of Directors Nominee: Patricia Mazzullo

Patricia Mazzullo, AuD, CH-TM, is a clinical audiologist for the Department of Defense at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. She serves as an adjunct professor in the AuD programs at the City University of New York (CUNY) Graduate Center and Gallaudet University. She previously served as an adjunct professor in the communication sciences department at Marymount Manhattan College. Dr. Mazzullo received her AuD from the CUNY Graduate Center. She also holds a certificate in tinnitus management (CH-TM).

Dr. Mazzullo specializes in vestibular assessment and tinnitus management, and runs the Clinical Tinnitus Program at Walter Reed. She previously reviewed the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association’s (ASHA) Documentation of Audiology Services as a subject matter expert. Dr. Mazzullo previously served as ASHA’s Committee of Ambassadors audiology representative for the District of Columbia from 2021–2024. She currently serves as the co-chair of the Audiology Affairs Committee of the National Black Association for Speech-Language and Hearing (NBASLH), and is a member of the Academy’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) Committee. Dr. Mazzullo also serves as the DEIB Committee liaison, secretary/treasurer, and Board of Trustee for the Foundation Board of Trustees.

She has served on the planning committees for the 2023 and 2025 Joint Defense Veterans Audiology Conference (JDVAC), 2023 and 2024 ASHA Conventions, and AAA 2025+HearTECH Expo. Dr. Mazzullo has mentored numerous students formally and informally through programs such as Student to Empowered Professional (S.T.E.P.) and Audiology Mentor Program for Students (AMP-S). Dr. Mazzullo is a member of the 2024 Jerger Future Leaders of Audiology Conference (JFLAC) class.

Outside of audiology, Dr. Mazzullo serves as a board member of a New York City based organization called COOL Kids NY, and is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. In her free time, she enjoys travelling, Pilates, and spending time with her dog, Sadie.
