Dr. Gomez’s research focuses on electrophysiology, vestibular sciences, and fall risk prevention in underserved populations, with an emphasis on improving screening and prevention strategies that address disparities in access to care. Dr. Gomez aims to advance health equity by developing more inclusive fall risk measures. Ultimately, his overarching aspiration is to become a bilingual clinician-scientist dedicated to serving both Spanish- and English-speaking populations.
