Bio
Tina Stern, AuD, has been an assistant professor and clinical audiologist at the University of Miami Ear Institute, since 2016. Stern obtained her Bachelor of Science degree at the State University of New York in Geneseo and her Doctor of Audiology degree at Nova Southeastern University in Florida. Her areas of expertise include cochlear implants, bone-anchored implants, and vestibular diagnostics. An active participant in audiology advocacy efforts since her time as an audiology doctoral student, she is currently the chair of the American Academy of Audiology’s (AAA’s) Legislative and Regulatory Committee, a member of AAA’s Advocacy Council, Coding and Reimbursement Committee, and Practice Policy Advisory Committee, President Elect of the Florida Academy of Audiology, and an American Cochlear Implant Alliance State Champion.
