The Academy provides this resource center to assist members and other audiologists with the implementation of the new hearing device services codes that became effective on January 1, 2026. These codes replace CPT® codes 92590–92595. The new codes are different than the traditional diagnostic codes used in audiology, so we recognize that people will have questions and look for more guidance. The Academy will continue to develop new education and update this site to offer guidance to members.. Academy members may submit specific questions not addressed on this site to reimbursement@audiology.org, and we will continue to expand the FAQ section.
