Has watching the 2020 Summer Olympics inspired you to increase your physical activity? The July issue of National Institutes of Health (NIH) Health in News mentions the recommendation that adults get 150 minutes of moderate physical activity or 75 minutes of intense activity per week, as well as strength training twice weekly.

Check out this issue of NIH Health in News to read about the potential benefits of physical activity like decreased risk from falls and better cognitive function. The article even gives suggestions for getting started.
*Be sure to check with your physician about what physical activities and level of exertion are right for you.
