Activities-Specific Balance Confidence Scale (ABC) in American Sign Language
A recently published innovative study out of Gallaudet University translated the Activities-specific Balance Confidence Scale into ASL and used a mixed-methods approach to validate the scale in deaf patients. Results allow clinicians to offer deaf patients who use ASL an option to complete a balance scale in their most accessible language.
